Movie Essays

This is an attempt to get thoughts out there in the open and prove why I love my favorite movies. I believe these films are the best of the best, impeccable as a piece of celluloid can be, though of course nothing is "perfect" and people are always going to have different things to say about what makes something special to them. Please feel free to comment on why you love, hate, almost like, or are interested to see any if these movies. There will be at least two hundred entries in this series, and the entries will be in RANDOM order of favorites. Otherwise, let’s face it, it would drive everyone crazy :)

  • Roger Ebert was obviously my biggest influence here, and his Great Movie Book 1, 2 and 3 are the main thing that got me into loving and looking at movies the way I do.

  • If something is not linked to a Page yet, I have yet to proofread or post it. But they are all coming, i’m constantly pushing myself to get more content out there.
